Badass dude

Loved it! Great mix of techno and funk. Couldn't get any better. BUT IT COULD GET LONGER :)

Musical-Pants responds:

As is usual with me, I post a short version for feedback purposes, expect a longer version soon.
Thanks for the review!

Kinda boring.

I really didn't like it too much. But as I listened to it once it got to :32 it started to sound really cool! I think you should work with that sound to make this song longer and a better listen.

NaL3s responds:

yeaa idk i was just seein if i could get some cool skip fx goin with FL.. but i couldnt really figure a good method for doing it.

prolly the only cool thing about this song is the fact that i completely made every sample in it.. but yea your right, it is pretty boring lol.

sorry it took me so long to respond.. i dont come here as muc as i used to anymore..

THX FOR THE REVIEW!!

This is so amazing

This sounds so professional. OH EM EF GEE. Sorry I just love what you've done to this song. I've got so many questions to ask you! Please tell me some tips to make professionally sounding songs like this!

Karco responds:

Here are a few...

- Listen to songs in the genre you want to make - lots of them, and frequently. Radios are often the best place to go (especially if you find one you really like, my personal favorite is http://trance.fm), as you can't choose the songs so you don't get influenced too much by one artist, group, or song.
- If you're starting with FL Studio, find your own sounds and do everything you can to avoid the default FL sounds. They're really recognizable and will hurt your songs quite a bit. You should aim for an all-around unique sound.
- Learn some musical theory if you don't know it already. It'll help you tons when composing. ;D

Those are the first three that come to me off the top of my head. Good luck, and thanks for the review! :D

Beautiful song btw. It's short, but its for ambience anyway.

Flash-MX responds:

Yes! KIDNAP THE SANDY CLAWS! Thats the one!
What do you win? Not really sure :(
didn't think quite that far into it.
Glad you liked it though, I wasn't all too happy with the lenght at first, but I will make it longer in the orchestral arrangement
Peace!

Sweet!

I remember listening to this awhile back, back before I didn't make music.

This song is actually quite amazing! I found the harmony at the chorus amazing, and really inspirational!

Please make more songs like this.

Sounds Delish

I've always loved soft orchestra songs like these :).
How did you get it to sound so real?

DylanGlow responds:

As do I, there's nothin' like a good ol' fashion orchestra to bring music to life. ^_^ I actually use a VST instrment called Edirol Orchestra with a program called Cubase to give it the realistic sound. I typically write my pieces on staff paper in my math class, (as my grade will show), and then digitize it in a different program called MusicWrite and then I incorporate it into Cubase. So there's the steps I use to get the realistic sounding orchestra. XD Thank you for the comment and score! Also if you like the sound of this one check out some of my other pieces. ^_^ Thanks again!!!

Cool!

I really enjoyed listening to this! I loved how crazy the drums were in this. Keep it up!
